How the fund can help

Funding is offered in three areas: Clinical Research Fellowships (research grants), support for Medical Symposia/Seminars (educational grants) and Training awards (travel grants).

Preference will be given to Healthcare Professionals in less senior positions. Individuals in Consultant posts are unlikely to be granted Clinical Research Fellowships or training awards. They may however act as supervisors, or receive support for Medical Symposia etc.

Supporting research:

Research grants are intended to support innovative, patient-orientated clinical projects in disease areas with a neurological or endocrine basis, especially in those areas of therapeutic interest to Ipsen Limited.

Supporting education:

Educational grants are available to support high-quality medical symposia and seminars focusing on neurological or endocrine-based conditions, especially in those areas of therapeutic interest to Ipsen Limited.

Supporting training:

Travel grants are available to help healthcare professionals with travel costs involved in visiting other academic sites to obtain and develop new skills or techniques.

Other possibilities for funding are reviewed each year by the Board of the Ipsen Fund.
